    Students & Young Professionals Reception (by Invitation Only) - 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

    Students and Young Professionals are invited to attend a special networking reception on Wednesday. The reception will include an Academy of Coastal, Ocean, Port and Navigation Engineers (ACOPNE) Diplomate ceremony recognizing engineers who have special knowledge and experience in the fields of civil engineering.

    Invited guests will include ASCE and COPRI leadership, ACOPNE Diplomates and conference organizers. Meet new contacts and other attendees who share your interests. Please wear Business Attire.

    Poster Session & Networking Reception - 3:30 - 5:30 p.m.

    Due to the overwhelming variety of abstracts, the conference technical committee has elected to host a poster session and reception on Thursday afternoon. The exhibit hall will feature more than 40 posters and a light reception.  

    Topics include: breakwaters and tide gates, fishing piers and oyster reefs, typhoon and storm risk, building codes and debris management.  Join colleagues and meet new contacts as you examine the poster materials and talk with presenters 

    Boston Harbor Tour - 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.

    Discover historic and contemporary milestones of Boston's inner and outer harbors during this fun and informative tour. From the hero tales of the Revolutionary War to the local legends of the sea, you will be entertained and enthralled.  

    See how the harbor was transformed to one of the cleanest in this country. Other highlights include:

    • The nation's oldest continuously manned lighthouse
    • Harbor Islands National Park
    • Boston's working port
    • Examples of waterfront living.
